ABOUT ME

I am a Dallas based sound designer who fell instantly in love with the craft when introduced by Ricky Meisner of Gearbox Software in 2020 and have had a one track mind ever since.

My audio journey began around 18 years ago with a love for playing, writing and recording music and has carried on almost daily ever since. Those efforts have now been redirected into growing as a sound designer to push a career in video games. 

I am greatly inspired by games I played growing up like Crash Bandicoot, Rayman, Tomb Raider and a slew of other PS1 games, but aspire to create content with the quality of those I hear in modern games like Dark Souls, Last of Us, Horizon Zero Dawn, Call of Duty and Borderlands. I'm also inspired by sources other than games, such as movies, music, art, crafting, making, sports, writing, stories; anything you can make expressive or be creative with. I also engage in several of these as hobbies.

My goal as a sound designer is to drive story and immersion and have fun doing it. If somewhere in the middle I can throw a bit of my own nostalgic twist in there as well, that’s just a bonus. Having a role as a sound designer means you are more or less pulling the strings of the players experience with a game. So, whether your task is to be serious, lifelike, over the top, silly or even invisible so other elements can take center stage, it's all exciting and rewarding.

     -Designed assets for main characters including Foley, ambience, voice over and main abilities (magical, mele, etc) and spearheading sound design on Skybound's Atom Eve game.
